This is a variety of lettuce known as “Flashy Troutback”, an heirloom we started from seed saved from last year’s crop.

As you enrich the soil, as you enrich the air, as you enrich the environment, you enrich the lives of children who have less engagement with plants than their parents, who had less than their parents.
